Ruslana Levandovska is a contemporary fine artist who practices visual fine art with an emphasis on representational style. The technique is influenced by various art practices from Old Masters and the New.

Ruslana received an Honors Bachelor of Arts studying Art History and its techniques from University of Toronto, as well as an Advanced Diploma from Sheridan College focused on visual art practices. She has studied with various masters that honed her classical technique and thereafter self-learned to combine the available knowledge into the contemporary work that is seen today. Ruslana has exhibited internationally in solo and group exhibitions. She has won multiple awards for her art with her pieces also appearing in various published magazines and journals worldwide.

Ruslana’s great inspirations throughout history are Da Vinci, Rembrandt, Renoir, Claude Monet, J.W. Waterhouse, J.E. Millais, J.W. Turner, among others. The painting’s composition is created through the understanding of geometry, algebra, and other sciences that prompt the leading of the eye through the canvas piece as the artist intends it to.

Ruslana explores the human condition, one's emotions and character, and the nature of who we are through her work. Even in her cityscapes, she attempts to capture the character of the city and its people. Her intention is to bring inner joy and a sense of self through each of the pieces.

Ruslana has exhibited and has been published internationally, with collectors ranging from North America to Europe to Asia.

An art piece is not just a picture but a story.
